Professor Kieran McEvoy Addresses Defence Committee on Prospect of Amnesty for British Military Personnel

On Tuesday 7 March 2015 Kieran McEvoy, Professor of Law and Transitional Justice at Queen’s University Belfast, was invited to give evidence to the Westminster Defence Committee on the issue of ‘Investigations into Fatalities Involving British Security Personnel’.

He was joined on the panel by Peter Rowe, Professor Emeritus of Law at Lancaster University, Philippe Sands, Professor of Law at University College London, and Richard Ekins, Tutorial Fellow in Law at Oxford University and Head of Policy Exchange’s ‘Judicial Power’ project.
