Professor McEvoy Addresses Progressive Unionist Party (PUP) Annual Party Conference

Professor Kieran McEvoy addressed the Progressive Unionist Party (PUP) Annual party conference on 10th October 2015 on the theme of ‘Dealing with the Past in Northern Ireland.’ Professor McEvoy offered a strong critique of the national security provisions contained in the recently leaked version of the draft Northern Ireland (Stormont House Agreement) Bill 2015. Other speakers who addressed the conference including PSNI Chief Constable George Hamilton, victims campaigner Jude Whyte, Irish Congress of Trade Unions leader Peter Bunting and Director of the Ex-Prisoner Interpretive Centre Tom Roberts.
