Following on from the AHRC funded work on Amnesties, Prosecution and the Public Interest, Professor Kieran McEvoy secured additional funding from QUB Business Alliance to support work between QUB and the human rights NGO, the Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ).
He has led an expert group from CAJ, Ulster University and QUB in the preparation of shadow legislation for the Dealing with the Past elements of the Stormont House Agreement from 2014 onwards. The draft model bill, together with explanatory notes, was launched in September 2015 following extensive consultation with the two governments and civil society in Northern Ireland.
